New impulses for practice
Since 1995, the Heidelberg Image Processing Forum, initiated by the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) at Heidelberg University, has been practising further education and information exchange between universities, research institutes and industry with great success. The forum has become an established institution for the rapid transfer of current, reliable research results into industrial practice and applications of image processing in science and technology.
