Your tasks
- You analyse existing manufacturing and testing technologies and identify improvements.
- Identify new manufacturing and production processes (including automation steps).
- You plan measures to improve productivity and implement them in all relevant areas of the internal supply chain.
- You align and optimise manufacturing processes and technologies at our sites.
- You will work on cross-functional product realisation processes to achieve Design to Manufacture, Design to Test and Design to Cost.
- You will also be involved in developing and maintaining the platform strategy.
Your profile
- You have a degree in engineering or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification with a sound technical background.
- Several years of professional experience in a medium-sized manufacturing company, preferably with several international locations, characterises you.
- You have experience in the development of production processes at all stages as well as knowledge of the necessary technologies; specialised knowledge of assembly and connection technology is an advantage.
- You have knowledge of the methods of lean manufacturing, automation, design to manufacture, design to test and design to cost.
- You are business fluent in English and German and your communication skills are convincing.
- You are willing to travel on business.
