Payroll Specialist/ Accountant (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Independent and timely completion of monthly payroll accounting for a fixed group of employees
- Contact person for accounting, payroll tax and social security issues for managers and employees
- Reporting and certification as well as processing correspondence with health insurance companies, social security institutions and authorities
- Compliance with and implementation of legal requirements and deadlines in tax and social security law and support with payroll tax and social security audits
- Preparation of statistics and personnel evaluations
- Processing individual areas of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, banks, cash register)
- Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, the preparation of tax returns and statistics as well as master data maintenance and increasing the efficiency of accounting processes
Your profile
- Commercial training, ideally further training in payroll accounting, as well as sound knowledge of payroll tax and social security law
- Professional experience in a comparable position in a medium-sized manufacturing company with international locations
- Good handling of MS Office, accounting software (DATEV) and ERP systems
- Structured, independent working style and high motivation
- Discretion and service orientation
- Quick comprehension and responsible, goal-oriented and results-oriented.
- Good team player and strong communication skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English and enjoy working on global projects in international teams
