Payroll Specialist/ Accountant (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- The focus of your work will be the independent and timely completion of monthly payroll accounting for a fixed group of employees.
- You will be available to our managers and employees as a contact person for questions relating to payroll, income tax and social security law.
- You will take care of reporting and certification as well as processing correspondence with health insurance companies, social security institutions and authorities.
- You will ensure that legal requirements and deadlines in tax and social security law are complied with and implemented and provide support with payroll tax and social security audits.
- You are responsible for preparing statistics and personnel evaluations.
- You will also process individual areas of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, banks, cash register).
- You support with
- Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements,
- the preparation of tax declarations and statistics
- master data maintenance and increasing the efficiency of accounting processes.
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training in payroll accounting, as well as sound knowledge of payroll tax and social security law.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in a comparable position in a medium-sized manufacturing company with international locations.
- You are adept at using MS Office, accounting software (DATEV) and ERP systems.
- You have a structured, independent working style and are highly motivated.
- Discretion and service orientation are a matter of course for you.
- Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with people are one of your strengths.
- You are quick on the uptake and work responsibly, purposefully and results-oriented.
- You are characterized by good teamwork skills.
- You have a very good command of German and English and enjoy working on global projects in international teams.
