Allied Vision integrates two Teledyne e2v sensors into the flexible Alvium camera platform

Allied Vision is expanding the Alvium camera platform with two new models equipped with Teledyne e2v sensors. The EV76C560 sensor is available in the 1.3 Megapixels USB3-Vision camera Alvium U-131 and in the 1.3 Megapixels Alvium G1-131 with GigE-Vision interface. The Alvium U-192 and Alvium G1-192, with a resolution of 1.9 Megapixels, are equipped with the EV76C570 sensor. With a high dynamic range and a unique pixel size of 5.3 µm the cameras are the perfect fit for applications such as inspection, quality control, robotics, and automation under low light conditions.

Allied Vision’s widely popular Mako and Manta cameras equipped with the global shutter CMOS sensors can now be replaced with a future proof Alvium camera with the same sensor. Vision systems built on these sensors now benefit from the advantages of a cutting-edge camera platform, offering long-term availability and a comprehensive feature set based on GigE Vision 2.2.

One platform - infinite solutions
All Allied Vision Alvium cameras share the same platform based on ALVIUM® Technology – a custom ASIC packed with unique features and 30 years of machine vision industry expertise. This offers the highest flexibility for the development of any vision system and makes it extremely easy to adjust and upgrade when prototyping, upgrading, or downgrading your system.

Alvium cameras are available with six (6) different interfaces for diverse requirements. Combined with the large selection of high-quality image sensors, various lens mount and housing options, and a wide range of spectral sensitivities the Alvium platform offers maximum flexibility. Thanks to the “sugar cube” format, a common SDK, and a single CSI-2 Driver, the cameras can be easily integrated into any vision systems and later replaced or upgraded by any other Alvium camera.
