Your tasks

  • Taking over the purchasing-side support of development projects as part of a cross-functional development process and representing the interests of Global Supply Chain Management.
  • Management of communication and cooperation between purchasing and project teams.
  • Responsibility for the procurement of parts and components from prototype to series handover.
  • Selection of suitable suppliers and appropriate manufacturing processes in close coordination with the Electronics, Mechanics & Optics department.
  • Conceptualization and development of supply chains.
  • Preparation of cost and range analyses.
  • Active participation in the optimization of supply chains as well as internal and external manufacturing processes.

Your profile

  • Several years of practical experience in purchasing in a manufacturing company.
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, 3D printing (SLS)) and very good understanding of technical contexts and documentation.
  • Ideally initial experience in the field of tool-based manufacturing processes.
  • Good decision-making skills, assertiveness, goal and resource orientation.
  • Confident use of MS Office tools and experience with ERP systems.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
