Allied Vision's revolutionary camera series for Industrial Embedded Vision has received the Innovative ProductAward. The prize is presented by the "Modern Manufacturing Magazine" of the publishing house Vogel Communications in China. The award honors innovative products that make a decisive contribution to the further successful development of the embedded system industry.
The Alvium camera module was selected as winner in the Automation and Driving Area by a committee of industry experts followed by online voting.

ALVIUM® technology, an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) with integrated image sensor processor (IPS) and image processing library (IPL), delivers industrial performance to embedded vision. By shifting image correction and processing tasks from the host to the camera’s ALVIUM® IPL, engineers can offload the CPU on their embedded boards for alternative processing tasks or reduce overall system cost by downsizing their host processor.
